Last night the San Antonio Spurs, yes, the Spurs with cement shoes, dropped 146 on the Golden State Warriors. That's just plain silly.
Listen to Golden State's defensive prowess:
- Tim Duncan: 8-8, 17 points, 5 assists
- Manu Ginobili: 10-15, 23 points, 11 assists
- Richard Jefferson: 8-10, 21 points
- Matt Bonner: 6-6, 14 points
- Malik Hairston: 7-9, 16 points
The Spurs are supposed to be efficient, but shooting 65% from the gym is just silly. Some teams barely shoot 65% in their layup line. Golden State couldn't have been worse defensively last night, let's just hope that the Grizzlies get a bit of the Southwestern luck and run all over them too.
