Dallas Mavericks Purchase Draft Rights to Dominique Jones

There was nobody left that the Grizzlies were thrilled to get besides sleeper Grievis Vasquez at point guard, and the roster is getting full.

So, as expected, the Grizzlies sold the 25th overall pick to the Mavericks and high roller Mark Cuban for what's likely to be $3 million in cash considerations.

This, combined with not drafting a small forward at #12, is definitely another sign that Michael Heisley is planning to sink some cash into Rudy Gay's pockets in the offseason.

That means Sou thern Florida scorer Dominique Jones will be competing with Rodrigue Beaubois and J.J. Barea instead of being stuck in a similarly problematic logjam in Memphis.
