Sam Sharpe-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
Grizzlies second-year guard Josh Selby is recovering from an ankle sprain.
Ronald Tillery had a brief update on his Commercial Appeal blog on guard Josh Selby's ankle injury. He writes:
Second-year guard Josh Selby continues to only participate in non-contact drills. Selby is recovering from an ankle sprain that hasn't allowed him to compete for playing time at shooting guard. There isn't a timetable for Selby to begin contact work. His status remains day-to-day.
We're hoping to see Selby suit up in the Grizzlies next preseason game against the Hawks on Sunday, at home. We've yet to see Selby in the Grizzlies first two preseason games, and considering that he's now moved into the role of being our top 3-point shooting threat, it would be nice to see how he fits into the non-Summer League rotation.
For more on the Grizzlies, see Tillery's blog.
