Rudy Gay Says He Doesn't Like Chris Paul, Clippers

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Memphis Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay says he doesn't like the Los Angeles Clippers at all, even saying that ended his friendship with Chris Paul.

Memphis Grizzlies star forward Rudy Gay wasn't exactly pleased with the Los Angeles Clippers, especially after the team still has some unfinished business with them dating back to the first round of the NBA Playoffs last season.

There was a lot of controversy involved, thanks to a large part due to the Clippers being accused of "flopping" on nearly every play in the series. It drove many players crazy, and Gay is certainly one of them.

Gay sat down with Eric Hasseltine on ESPN 92.9 Memphis discussing the upcoming NBA season that is about to start in three weeks and other topics.

The Clippers came up in the discussion, as LA and Memphis will face off in the season-opener, which adds a lot of story lines to the upcoming match-up. Gay brewed things up even more with what he said.

"Definitely and how fitting that our first game is against the Clippers. (Host: Do you like them? Be honest.) Honestly no I don’t. (Host: I know you’re friends with Chris (Paul).) I mean I love him but I don’t like him anymore. (Host: I mean that’s your brother but as a team and man look they made a new rule because of them, the flopping rule came out.) Well yeah. (Host: What do you think about that?) One of the best parts of the playoffs last year was seeing Chris with the bonnet on. That was hilarious."

Ooohhh!
