Well, it looks like the Lakers might be close to making another deal. This time for Michael Beasley of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Nothing is official, but if it does happen... wow. The Lakers needed a scorer off the bench (Beasley, check) and a backup point guard (Sessions, check) at the deadline. Both missions accomplished (or, close to it) They're starting to look a a complete team once again, and without having to give up Kobe Bryant (naturally), Andrew Bynum or Pau Gasol. Yikes.

We'll update if this becomes official, but watch out, Grizzlies fans, because the Lakers seem to be turning into a stronger team today than they were when we faced them earlier this week.
