Congratulations to Tony Allen, who received a well-deserved honor today by making the 2012 NBA All-Defensive first team, along with LeBron James, Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, and, seriously, Serge Ibaka. Now, it's not that Ibaka didn't have a fantastic season or anything, but it does seem strange that both he and Howard made it on to the first team ahead of Tyson Chandler, who, oh you know, was the 2012 NBA Defensive Player of the Year. Voting fail?

Wait, where was I...?

Right, congratulations to Tony, who picks up a well-deserved nod for his defensive effort. Also getting some love were Marc Gasol and Mike Conley, who while they didn't make the second team they did both pick up consideration votes.

Grit 'N Grind, baby.
