Josh Selby Named Las Vegas Summer League Co-MVP

Today highlights Josh Selby's dominant ten days in the Las Vegas Summer League as he was named, along with Blazers point guard Damian Lillard, Co-MVP. See more information below the fold.

Selby's averages through four games was a summer league leading 27.5 ppg, 2.5 spg, and 59.3% fg% as well as a whopping 70.6% from downtown. Ironically, Selby was named MVP prior to the Grizzlies' fifth and final summer league game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, which turned out to be his worst performance. At halftime, he had zero points and finished the game with 11 on 4 of 11 shooting, but perhaps offset that with 6 assists. Check out below the All-Summer League Team.

It is also interesting to note that Jerryd Bayless, with whom Selby will be competing for minutes this season, was the Summer League MVP in 2008.
