Well, now that the dust has barely settled on the Jeremy Pargo deal, freeing up another roster spot, according to a source, the Grizzlies will announce on Thursday that they are signing free agent center Hamed Haddadi to a multi-year contract extension.

Hadaddi, who's spent the last 4 seasons with the Grizzlies, will continue to develop off the bench as Marc Gasol's primary backup. And given his improved numbers from last season, both off the glass (20.1 TRB%) and on the defensive side of the ball (10.3% BLKR), this deal makes sense for the Grizzlies, as they fill the 14th and final spot on their roster.

The deal is said to be made official on Thursday, so we'll have more details as they're made public. But, for now, let's all take a deep sigh of relief and welcome back Hamded Haddadi into the fold.
