Yesterday, Darrell Arthur met with the media to discuss his rehab process, after missing the entire 2011-12 season with a torn ACL.
According to Arthur, he is currently at about "75 percent," but he expects to be much closer to 100 percent once the season rolls around. Mostly, he says he needs to work on his conditioning, which he wasn't able to do much of during his rehab.
We've talked about it numerous times here on SoV, but I think it's important to continue to note the development and improvements Arthur made at the end of the 2010-11 season and prior to his injury. He's going to be an important part of this team and will likely determine direction and some future personnel decisions, pending his continued improvement.
I don't know about you guys, but one of things I'm most looking forward to this season is seeing how healed Arthur (hopefully) is. He's a legit talent, there's no denying that. It's just a matter now of whether or not he's fully healed. And if you listen to the entire interview, it seems, at the very least, as if he's well on his way to nearing 100 percent -- both physically and mentally.
