The Memphis Grizzlies will be without Rudy Gay (personal) tonight when they play against the Los Angeles Clippers, but now too it seems as the playing field has been leveled with news breaking that Chris Paul also won't suit up in this one.
Paul will miss tonight's action due to a right kneecap contusion.
Paul didn't participate in the Clippers' shoot-around earlier Monday, sitting on the sidelines with what he said was a swollen knee. He had a stimulant device connected to his knee.
Asked if he would play against the Grizzlies, Paul said: "I don't know yet. If a miracle comes through. I hope so. I want to play, no question. But if I feel like I'll hinder the team, then I won't."
Eric Bledsoe will start in his place. Back on opening night, Bledsoe scored 14 points with four rebounds and four assists in 17 minutes against the Grizzlies.
