Grizzlies 103, Sixers 100: Gasol'd

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

The Grizzlies went to Philadelphia and won one without Mike Conley tonight.

The Grizzlies were trailing 33-20 at the end of the first quarter, but a ridiculous first half from Jerryd Bayless -- in which he scored 19 points -- helped the Griz regain the lead at the half. From that point on it was a close-fought game, coming down to a Rudy Gay shot to reclaim the lead in the final 30 seconds.

Marc Gasol played out of his mind, though, like, for real. Big Spain had 27 points on 10-15 shooting, shot 100% from the free throw line, made a three-pointer, had 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. One of which was on a potential Nick Young gamewinner.

Philadelphia
Land of history, freedom,
And Marc Gasol, beast.

Let's see those victory haikus! Keith (who, let's face it, will always be thenightstallion to those of us that've been around) is on the recap.
