What, me worry? - Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports
The Grizzlies are in the Bay Area tonight to take on the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors are currently in 5th place in the Western Conference, only a half game behind the 4th-place Grizzlies, so tonight's matchup is even more important than your typical Wednesday night road matchup against the Warriors. Which, let's be honest, we haven't had a meaningful one of those in quite a while.
The last time these two teams played each other, on November 2nd — also a road game — the Grizzlies won 104-94 in a game that saw Brandon Rush go down with a season-ending knee injury and saw the Grizzlies kick off an eight-game winning streak that included victories over the Rockets, Heat, Thunder, and Knicks.
It'd be nice if tonight's game could lead to a similar sort of hot streak, especially since the Grizzlies' offense seemed to have gotten a little bit of its groove back in Monday night's 113-81 drubbing of the Sacramento Kings.
The game doesn't start until 9:30 Central time, but we're all friends here, right? Let's talk it out!
And check out Golden State Of Mind for the Warriors side of the story.
