The Worth of the "Grindfather"
With the words of Grizzlies CEO Jason Levien confirming what we already kind of knew, the Father of "Grit and Grind", Tony Allen, appears to be in the Grizzlies long term plans. How long term, and for how much, will become the question once the season ends. Allen is the undisputed heart of the Grizzlies, having created to the most hype team mantra in the league and living it out every day and every game, often when the team needs him most. His offensive game...lacks refinement, but there is no denying his effort and defensive prowess.
