Coming off last night's close loss to the Nuggets in Denver, the Grizzlies suit up for another high-altitude showdown, only this time they're in Utah. Where, you know, lots of stuff happens. Like, uhh... I'll think of it here in a minute... maybe...
...you know. Stuff. Fun stuff.
The key question with tonight's matchup is not whether the Grizzlies are better than the Jazz. They clearly are. Last time the Griz played in Salt Lake City, they were trailing at the half and playing terribly. After the game, the players said Lionel Hollins just walked into the locker room at halftime, said "This is some bullshit," and walked right back out.
Needless to say, the Griz came back and won.
Hopefully that won't be the case tonight, because even though last night's game was more important, now that the Nuggets have that tiebreaker, every win the Grizzlies can get gets them closer to locking down the 3 seed in the playoffs. The Jazz are currently sitting in 9th place behind the Lakers, and they need every win they can get to catch them and get into the playoffs.
So, running into a team that needs a win at home one night after a close loss in Denver, on the fourth game in five nights?
So... yeah.
Let's talk it out!
