For those of you who don't know, my "day job" is that of a high school teacher and football coach. I played football through high school and college and just completed my 5th year coaching. It is my passion, coaching, and while basketball was my first love football became my sport of choice to play. If football is my wife, basketball is my mistress.
I had a chance to go on the Phil Naessens show after wrapping up Grizzly Bear Blues Live (which you can listen to here) and talk about the upcoming "game to end all games", the Super Bowl. For the Broncos, it will come down to Peyton Manning's ability to spread out the Seahawks defense and keep them off balance both with pace and variety of play calling. The Seahawks will have to find a way to run the ball against a Broncos defense that has steadily improved and will almost certainly try to make Russell Wilson beat them.
I think that Peyton Manning is playing Chess while the Seahawks are playing Checkers, and the Broncos will be able to score touchdowns once they get into the Red Zone.
