Grizzlies 1st Round Selection: Jordan Adams

The Memphis Grizzlies have traded their 2016 2nd round pick to the Utah Jazz for the draft rights to Jarnell Stokes, selected with the 35th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.

According to our correspondent, Chip Williams, everyone in the Grizzlies' media room cheered at this announcement.

GBB Prospect Profile

Jarnell Stokes, PF, Tennessee

From Kevin Yeung of GBB:

Trading a 2016 second-rounder to the Utah Jazz for the right to pick him at 35, Jarnell Stokes is the newest member of the Memphis Grizzlies and he's very 'Grizzlies'. He'll bang down low, crash the boards, and curb stomp guys in the post en route to dunking on them. Stokes might be a bit short, but he's a physical beast who could even challenge for the backup job. Grit and grind lives on.

It's been a pretty crazy night, who knows if the Grizzlies are done just yet.
