GBBLive, just in time for the playoffs, is hitting its stride much like the Memphis Grizzlies.
The latest installment was a strong one, with great insights and information from our various guests. In the first segment, managing editor of Grizzly Bear Blues Chris Faulkner stopped in for his weekly segment entitled "Grizzly Bear News." Chris highlighted the great work being done by the contributors this week, and also announced that Grind Prophecies will be "kicking it up a notch" starting in April. Be sure to get in on that; as a former winner of the replica jersey, it is worth the effort.
Segment 2 featured 3SOB Radio's Phillip Dean. Phillip is a great guy, one of the harder workers in the blogger/radio business and it was a pleasure talking Grizzlies with him. He had great perspective on the Courtney Lee struggles in particular, namely that Coach Joerger took some responsibility for them. Going forward, Lee will be huge for this roster. He needs to get going, and hopefully Coach Joerger gets him some sets where he can attack the rim and jump start his game.
The final segment had Ben Hogan, the producer of "The Eric Hasseltine Show" on 92.9 ESPN Memphis, as our guest. It was awesome having Ben on the show as a guest and he was a pleasure to interview. He offers thoughts on what it is like to work with some of the biggest names in Memphis sports radio, the Tayshaun/JJ debate and to preview the week ahead for the Grizzlies. We both predict the same outcome for Memphis as they close out their road trip this coming Wednesday in Minnesota.
