Chris looks back on his first big league training camp and a dramatic grand slam he hit off of Kevin Chapman in 2011.

According to the first installment of THE (Chris) WALLACE report, Chriis could have taken a nap while catching Livan Hernandez in Spring Training.

"Wallace has a hard job working under Michael Heisley, who is liable to jump in and overrule him whenever he wants. He had been doing a better job than people realized the last couple years, though there will be a lot of pain on the back end of these contract extensions." Once again, Mike Prada does a fantastic piece about GM's. For the most part I'm inclined to agree with his judgment, especially because I feel that almost no GM has as many built-in disadvantages as Chris Wallace (small market, overbearing owner, etc.). Also, the fact that Wallace has moved up 5 spots from last year's ranking correctly reflects the excellent job he did this year. I'm worried as hell about our long-term salary, but talent-wise we're a lot better off than most teams. What do you guys think?
