***Update*** Chris Paul is likely not playing tonight ***Update***
Seems like we just went over this a week or two ago, huh?
Hopefully tonight's result won't be quite the same, however, there certainly were encouraging signs during the game. Mike Conley's quickness does appear to help him on the defensive end against Chris Paul. O.J. Mayo should handle Marcus Thornton. I obviously like Rudy Gay to bounce back against Peja Stojakovic and James Posey. And the front-court matches up excellently as well, especially with David West in a down year.
The only match-up that really matters is the first one, though. The Hornets are CP3, and if Conley can find a way to limit Darren Collison to sub-Chris Paul numbers, than the Grizzlies should pick up an easy win. If Conley, like
most one or two opposing guards, can't do much to limit Paul Collison, then the rest of the Grizzlies are going to have to be on tonight on the other end of the court.
So it's all down to
Chris Paul Darren Collison against "Be Like" Mike. Let's pray everybody else has an on night.
