GameThread: Indiana Pacers vs. Memphis Grizzlies

New, comments

Boy is it good to be home! After an ugly loss to the Knicks in New York, the Grizzlies return home to play the Indiana Pacers who, believe it or not, are one of the tougher outs right now in the NBA.

The Pacers have won three of their last four, having beating the Knicks twice and the red-red-red-hot Chicago Bulls on Friday night in an overtime victory.

And yes, there has been no better player in the league over the last two weeks than Tyler Hansbrough. OK, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but he's been a beast offensively and off the glass, averaging 20.8 points and 7.8 rebounds in 11 March games. We can't over-look Hansbrough here.

The Pacers also have great size in Roy Hibbert, 3-point shooting (ugh!) in Danny Granger, and a tough cover on the defensive side of the ball in Darren Collison. We do need this win, and while at home we need to recover from that disastrous performance against the Knicks. Hey, let's play some defense tonight!
