The Grizzlies are dealing with a few minor injuries, most notably Josh Selby's ankle and now Rudy Gay's hip and groin. According to Ron Tillery, Rudy sat out of practice on Thursday but is expected back on the court Friday afternoon.

Tip-ins: Gay didn't practice and sat on the sideline with injured players Josh Selby (ankle) and Darrell Arthur (leg fracture). Gay is nursing a sore left hip and groin. He is expected to return to action Friday afternoon.

Obviously it doesn't sound too serious, but I'm more interested in seeing Selby step on the court than I am about getting Gay back out there. We know what we have in Rudy Gay, it's Selby who I think we're all interested in seeing if he can translate his Summer League success into actually NBA gametime success.
