Lionel Hollins ranked 12th among top NBA coaches

Lionel Hollins ranked ahead of Sacramento's Keith Smart and Indiana's Frank Vogel in HoopsHype pre-season coaching power rankings

As if there is a need to throw another useless preseason list to build anticipation for the upcoming season, Charley Rosen over at HoopsHype compiled his annual coaching preseason power rankings.

Topping the list is (of course) Gregg Popovich, but following behind him is Tom Thibodeau, Doc Rivers, Rick Carlisle, and George Karl. These coaches have proven themselves time and time again.

Lionel Hollins finds himself ranked 12th in this list. To be mentioned in the company of reputable names is encouraging and reassuring to Grizzlies fans: finally, somebody sees the genius that we see in Coach Hollins.

To see the complete list and descriptions, head over to the article at HoopsHype.
