And just like that, the Gilbert Arenas signing seems to be inevitable.
Just this morning the Grizzlies traded Sam Young to the Philadelphia 76ers for a "draft pick," which means that they are clearly trying to open up some space to sign Arenas. Right? That would be my guess. I know that they wanted to get under the tax threshold, which the Young trade accomplishes, but if you have a shot at signing Gil, well, I think you have to ink that deal. And moving for a pick certainly clears up space.
