I'm not going to waste your time with this one, because the Grizzlies certainly didn't waste theirs. Or maybe they did. It seemed like they just never got it going tonight in Dallas.
Here's the (hideous) box score:
I tried to insert the box score widget, and it didn't render correctly and was all 0's. Which seems somehow appropriate.
I mean, why even write a full recap? The Grizzlies were obviously worn out after last night's overtime win against San Antonio.
The Mavericks just got Dirk Nowitzki back from injury, and O.J. Mayo was probably still mad from when Tony Allen turned his water off the last time these two teams played, in Memphis. They ended up not doing anything crazy because the Grizzlies got behind and never caught back up; Dirk and O.J. simply got to rest a lot.
I would rather have been reading a book. Apparently the Grizzlies would have, too. Maybe they'll stop scheduling these back to backs where both teams are in the Southwest division.
On a back to back
The team should show up for both.
That did not happen.
