This game doesn't even deserve a haiku. The Grizzlies trailed by 3 at the half, down 57-54. Here's the box score:
Look! Zeroes again. I guess the box score thing is still broken.
Well lemme tell ya: it sucked. The Grizzlies scored 15 points in the third quarter and 13 in the fourth. Meanwhile the Spurs shot 58% for the game, and had assists on 75% of their made field goals.
At least Tony Wroten got to play? I guess?
These guys look like they're not playing hard. That second half was pathetic. And so my quick recap is pathetic. Expect to see a lot more about this one tomorrow and in the days to come. Something's rotten in Grizz-land, and this little 20-point blowout streak needs to stop. Now.
Pounding The Rock is probably gloating, as well they should, because the Grizzlies got stomped all over tonight.
PS: Zach Randolph had to leave the game with a "strained back." As if it wasn't terrible enough watching Tim Duncan and company wipe the floor with the boys in blue.
