The Grizzlies led wire-to-wire tonight in Phoenix. Zach Randolph had 21 points and 8 rebounds. Rudy Gay had 20 points on 9-18 shooting. Marc Gasol had a double double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Perhaps most interestingly, the Grizzlies struggled in the fourth quarter with turnover after turnover until the rotations settled in on the backcourt of Mike Conley and Jerryd Bayless together. With both PG's on the floor, the Grizzlies' ball movement picked up and everyone on the court started to get better looks at the ball, and both of them played hounding defense that kept the Suns from ever closing the gap.
Here's the box score:
The land of the Suns:
Though they struggled in the fourth,
It did not break them.
Let the haiku flow forth in the comments. And check out Bright Side Of The Sun for the Suns' side of the story.
