Grizzly Bear Blue Grind Prophecies: Run As Vasquez You Can

I saw a few more of you get involved with the Prophecies against the Lakers on Friday. You like'uh'the points, eh?

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

I'm sure everyone is crediting Zach Randolph and his 2011 flashback for the victory over the Lakers on Friday, but I know the real reason was the increased participation in the Grind Prophecies from you guys. The Grizzlies undoubtedly had a feed of the thread broadcast in each locker to inspire the team, and Dave Joerger must have been influenced by my timeout question because he didn't use one until almost 10 minutes of game time had surpassed.

I know I love Grizzly reunion games, especially as how they usually remind me of all our wasted draft picks. So we'll honor former Lionel Hollins whipping boy, Greivis Vasquez, tonight with the Grind Prophecies.

The Grindmaster from the last edition of Grind Prophecies (at Lakers) was Zach Randolph.

  1. Game Score and Winner (correct predictions receive 3 points, if no correct predictions, 1 point awarded to member(s) with closest differential)
  2. The Grindmaster (3 points awarded to correct predictions; if Grindmaster title is split between 2 players, 2 points go to each member who predicted either player)
  3. Combined number of assists and turnovers for Greivis Vasquez (3 points awarded to correct predictions; if no correct answers, 1 point awarded to member(s) who are closest without going over)
  4. Total number of technical and flagrant fouls given out during the game (3 points awarded for correct predictions; zero points awarded for incorrect predictions)
