The Grizzlies have owned the Warriors for what has been years now. And by "own," I mean they either destroy them or they charge back in the 4th quarter to complete a heady comeback. The last time the Warriors actually beat Memphis was back in November of 2010, where Rudy Gay and Monta Ellis had a pissing contest to see who could take the most shots, with OJ Mayo getting in on the action as well. Between Rudy and Mayo, they attempted 43 shots that night, and while their percentages weren't too shabby, I imagine the defense was plenty short of what we know as Grit n Grind.
I highly doubt that any two Grizzlies will attempt a combined 40 shots tonight, and Memphis will continue to operate in the paint where they have the clear advantage over Golden State. Without Steph Curry, the Warriors will put a lot of pressure on their other scorers. Jerryd Bayless will see extended time tonight with Tony Allen on suspension, so it will be interesting to see if Joerger hides him and his deficiencies or if JBayBay is unleashed for the evening.
Do the Grizzlies finish off a perfect road trip tonight?
