Memphis Grizzlies vs Boston Celtics Game Poll: Gasol Go Boom?

New, comment

You, the readers, tell us what the outcome of tonight's game will be. Do the Grizzlies kick off the week home stand on good footing?

Mark L. Baer-USA TODAY Sports

The Grizzlies are now 1-2 on the season, and they haven't had a winning percentage that low since December of 2011. However, it's the performances, not the record, that are giving some of you Griz fans uneasy stomaches this early in the campaign.

While the Grizzlies struggle to find their new offensive identity, they have also let their elite defense sit in the corner and accumulate dust. I think the offense will eventually settle into a groove, and that it will probably exceed last year's success on a statistical perspective, but the Grizzlies needs to take care of their first love first - use it or lose - keep our defense Gritting and Grinding.

If there's any situation to remedy a good but rusty team, it may be playing of the worst teams in the league. That's the scenario taking place on Beale Street tonight. I'm expecting for the Grizzlies to take advantage of a weak opponent, so we'll do something a little different for the poll tonight.
