Local 6 sports director David Pingalore has learned through multiple sources the Magic have no plans of trading J.J. Redick by today's 3 p.m. trade deadline and will push to sign him to a long-term deal this summer.

Redick is a player that would fit perfectly into Memphis' offensive system and fill holes in our offense we need to fill. However, this doesn't look like it's gonna happen this go-around.
Other reported teams in the Redick hunt were New York, Milwaukee, Chicago and Philadelphia.
