Welcome back to Grind Prophecies for the first official night of hopelessly predicting the outcome of our freighteningly awful/great Memphis Grizzlies. If you missed the introduction to this new GBB game, visit here. I am glad we had such a great response the first night but I must give credit where credit is due. Our fearless leader, Kevin Lipe has stated (off the record) that I stole (STOLE!?) this idea from an Atlanta Braves blog site**. Stole? Such harsh words cut to the core of me. Now, admittedly that is completely, 100% true, but I like to consider myself as more of a renaissance man. Think Alexander the Great: taking over an empire, tweaking just a little and making my own. Progressive. Opportunistic.

The Miami Heat have done the same thing. Taken great parts, molded them together and made a powerhouse force. LeBron James: the King of the Court. Dwyane Wade: the Valient Floor General. Chris Bosh: the Court Jester with an Overbite. The Big 3 Empire has pounded and pillaged its way through the last 12 games and now have the Grizzles waiting outside the gates. It is small forces like these Grizzlies that have caused trouble for the Heat in the past. The Pacers, Celtics and Bulls have stood their ground, rebuffing Heat advances with strong perimeter defense and rebounding.

So how will Memphis fare against the tyrant Heat? That's up to you to predict. Without further ado: Grind Prophecies.
