Grind Prophecies: All Heart

New, comments

Game 4 is the opportunity. Tonight is the chance. Can the Grizzlies take a commanding lead back to OKC or will turnovers and Joey Crawford's enigma slow them down?

USA TODAY Sports

Is it just me or has this series felt SO strange? I don't know if it is the absence of Russell Westbrook or the lull from the Clippers series or just the general sloppiness of the games themselves, but I haven't had a good feel for this series.

Don't get me wrong: I have enjoyed this series, mainly for the sheer fact that the Grizzlies hve been winning, but there's no rhythm. I told Keith before this series, I thought Memphis would sweep the series and, in all honesty, they should be playing for that honor tonight. However, with the lone loss in Game 1, the Grizzlies are now looking to push toward the ever ellusive "1-loss, sweep," much akin to former Memphis Redbirds pitcher, Shelby Miller's recent "1-hit perfect game."

The Grizzlies are in a great position. Largely controlling much of this series has instilled in them a confidence that should carried throughout this series and into the next. It is time now to take up the mantra that will be emblazened on the towels tonight and play all out, with all the heart they have, griting and grinding all the way to a Game 4 win.
