Grind Prophecies: Don't Bluff Now

New, comments

Undefeated at home in the 2013 playoffs, the Grizzlies must not bluff in Game 3 if they wish to obtain a trip to the NBA Finals.

Stephen Dunn

It what can only be described as the biggest must-win game of the year, the Grizzlies return home following adequate rest to try to gain a footing in the Western Conference Finals win column. There are a lot of elements at play in this series, but one question I have yet to figure out is "who do the Grizzlies want taking shots?" A large part of previous series wins, is the Grizzlies defense designed their defense to allow certain players to shoot certain shots. Sephalosha threes, Crawford contest shots.

However, this Spurs series has not seen this question answered. Every Spur has responded to the opportunity to knock down shots. Danny Green, Matt Bonner and Kwahi Leonard have all made their mark on this series, but can the Grizzlies force them into shots they do not want to take? Can they run them off the three-point line and force them into turnovers?

Tell us what you think in today's Grind Prophecies. Go Grizz!!!
