Conference Semis, Game 2 Final Score: Grizzlies 99, Thunder 93

New, comments

The Grizzlies pull out an ugly, improbable win on the road at Oklahoma City despite weird nights from just about everybody... ...except Mike Conley and Tony Allen.

Ronald Martinez

You guys, I don't know how that happened.

I don't know how the Grizzlies were able to hang tight with the Thunder despite some truly craptastic possessions on offense. Despite Tayshaun Prince's basketball abilities ascending to heaven and leaving the rest of him here for the playoffs.

Marc Gasol had 24 points on 8-13 shooting and went 8-8 from the free throw line. Everyone else, combined, went 15-24 from the line. Not good.

Andrew's got a full recap coming soon, but for now, let's celebrate the fact that the Grizzlies are coming back to the Grindhouse having stolen home court advantage from the Thunder!

Here's the box score:

Final - 5.7.2013 1 2 3 4 Total
Memphis Grizzlies 23 31 15 30 99
Oklahoma City Thunder 21 30 23 19 93

Oklahoma City Thunder playoff victory haiku time! Let's see 'em! (Try not to make too much fun of Kendrick Perkins. It's mostly not his fault he looks like that.)
