Vince Carter made his first return to Dallas as the Grizzlies were beaten by 5 points by the Mavericks. Carter would play just shy of 8 minutes in the game and finish with 3 points and 2 rebounds. Quincy Pondexter led the Grizzlies with 18 points on 6-11 shooting. Another solid performance from Marc Gasol saw him finish the game with 17 points and 7 rebounds in just 23 minutes of action. Hassan Whiteside finished with 9 points and 7 rebounds in 9 minutes on the court.
