Memphis Grizzlies Opening Night Preview: Dance Party, Yo Gotti, and Pink Headbands

The Memphis Grizzlies are attempting to get off to a hot start this season. It's been a theme that's permeated every corner of the locker room, and I'd be lying if I said it doesn't come off as believable. But regardless of how the players perform on the court, the agenda will be accompanied by a ferociously celebratory opening night inside the Grindhouse.

As usual, the Grizzlies Marketing Dept. (a blanket term I use to encompass everyone involved) is on their A-game.

If you live in the area and do not yet have a ticket to opening night, I suggest you pony up and find a way to get downtown on Wednesday. We're not just talking about the 10,000 pink headband giveaway, or the pre-game performance by Yo Gotti, but also the usual staple stars of FedexForum like Grizz Grannies and Grandpas, Kings of the Court, and the return of the Terrace Level DJ Dance Party ... not to mention the Memphis Grizzlies themselves.

And I'm willing to bet that Grizz and Co. have a few surprises up their sleeves, too.
