The Grizzlies made it a 3-0 start for the first time in history with a 2 point win against the Hornets last night.
Congratulations to everyone that watched the entire game, I'm not afraid to admit that I watched the whole thing, I find games like this intriguing for some reason.
Memphis got off to a good start and were leading 23-15 at the end of the first quarter, things didn't get much better from then on as the Grizzlies scored just 48 points in the final 3 quarters combined.
Marc Gasol once again led the Grizzlies scorers with 22 points, shooting 50% from the field. Gasol has now opened the season with 3 straight games scoring 20+ points.
Zach Randolph made it 3 straight double doubles with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Mike Conley led the way in the assists column, with 7, but scored just 9 points on 3-14 shooting.
Vince Carter came off the bench to hit 3 shots from behind the arc in 5 attempts.
Al Jefferson top scored for the Hornets with 19 points. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist finished with a double double, and Kemba Walker shot just 1-11 from the field.
