The Grizzlies played the Lakers just a couple of weeks ago in Memphis, and it marked one of the first impressive performances by the Griz bench this season. It was so impactful that they were given heavy playing time in favor of the usual stalwarts of Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph, who were both having off nights on the offensive end.
That's not likely to be the case tonight. While players like Kosta Koufos and Jon Leuer are likely to have fantasy value with active roles that have them rebounding and getting easy looks near the rim, the Grizzlies are going to want to get Gasol and Randolph in a groove as they set out on a 4-game road trip.
After having a few bad shooting nights during the first couple of weeks of November, Gasol has reignited and is averaging 23 PPG on 54% shooting, 9 RPG, and is getting to the FT line an average of 7 times per game. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies will want to beat up and wear down the Lakers interior with Zach Randolph to keep LA playing their pace of basketball. The Nov 11th meeting aside, Z-Bo is averaging 16/10 against the Lakers over the past 2 seasons.
