Marc Gasol overcame a slow first half in which he scored just 3 points to help lead the Grizzlies to a 6 point win over the Lakers last night.
Four of the Grizzlies starters had double digit scoring games as Memphis won the first of their 4 game road trip. Gasol and Conley both finished with 19 points, with Randolph adding 16 in just 27 minutes. Courtney Lee finished with 10.
Memphis were down by 5 at the half but came out strong in the third, winning the quarter 34-23. The 4th quarter finished with the Grizzlies maintaining their 6 point advantage to extend their record to 13-2.
Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 22, but shot just 5-15 from the field, he was 10-10 from the free throw line.
Ex Grizzly Ed Davis scored just 2 points, but managed to block 3 shots and grab 8 rebounds.
