I've got a hunch that the Memphis Grizzlies head coach is going to fair better in the 2014-15 inaugural approval poll than he did last season. Dave Joerger has grown into the pants that Lionel Hollins left down at FedexForum, and he's confidently synched them around his waist with a Dolce & Gabbana belt. Aside from having a better feel for how to implement his grand vision for the team, he's found a coaching persona that allows him to "get after" players during games. I don't get the impression that Dave has become gruff and tough with his Grizzlies, but his command of the team suggests that the buddy label he had last season has been shed.
That being said, I'm very interested to hear what you all have to say about the Joergermeister. What stands out the most to you when comparing his freshman/sophomore campaigns as head coach? What are some elements you'd still like to see developed in his approach?
