Grizzlies 111 - Bobcats 89

The Grizzlies decided to bear their teeth tonight and take care of business in the Grindhouse. Memphis didn't allow a Bobcat to score more 20 pts and the Grizzlies themselves saw extensive scoring from all across the roster.

Kosta Koufos had a great game, as did Tony Allen. Zach Randolph was extremely efficient in his limited time and Mike & Marc steadied the ship all game until the bench came in to clean up.

This game was huge for the Grizzlies, not because they beat the Bobcats, but because they beat the Bobcats by the margin that you'd expect from a seasoned, veteran team of players entering the crunch time of the season to secure a playoff spot.

The Grizzlies crushed the Bobcats. This game wasn't ever close and finally gave Grizzlies' fans the respite spectacle that we knew this team has been capable of for a long while. What's even better is the Griz now get 2 full days of rest to come back into the FedexForum on Tuesday and take on a Portland Blazers team that they demolished a couple of months ago on their home court.
