Reasons to be optimistic: There could be some considerable movement in the standings after tonight; all five teams involved in these posts are playing, including the Suns and Blazers against one another.

Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde: This is one time you definitely want to see the schizo side of the Grizzlies. They need to come out looking 100% different, and by different I mean better, than the lackadaisical group of dum-dums that came out onto the court in Minnesota on Wednesday.

Forecast: I'm still leery of Dallas finishing out the season with performances like the one they had against the Clippers last night. If Memphis can go 5-2 in their final seven games they should be able to secure a 7th seed. The Grizzlies final game vs. the Mavericks is going to be a must win, however.

Recaps of games that affected the Grizzlies Thursday night:

Final score: Mavs hold on this time, finish off Clippers 113-107

Previews of games that will affect the Grizzlies Thursday night:

Who you should be cheering for: Go Blazers, Go Kings, Go Lakers
