Reasons to be optimistic: The Grizzlies have always played the Big 3 Heat very well. The crowd inside FedexForum should be incredible raucous tonight; one would assume the Grizzlies players themselves will follow suit. We still technically control our fate and a 5-game winning streak inside that absurd.

Sweet Nostalgia: It's crazy to think that the 45 wins the Grizzlies have right now was good enough to get them into the playoffs back in 2005. It's likely the Grizzlies will need 49 or 50 to accomplish the same feat this year.

Forecast: It's still possible for the Grizzlies to make the postseason with a loss tonight, but that leaves no room for error. Memphis gets a nice reprieve after tonight, facing the 76ers at home and going on the road to the Lakers. Coach Joerger has said fatigue is becoming a factor for the team which makes the immensely crucial game in Phoenix next Monday seem quite scary; it's the second game of a back-to-back. The Grizzlies have to do whatever it takes to win, but resting starters still has to be a big area of focus if the Griz build significant leads against any of the upcoming opponents.
