With the 27th pick in the GBB 2014 NBA Mock Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves, represented by DontKillJohn, select:

27) Glenn Robinson III, SF, Michigan

Robinson certainly has it in his blood to be a great NBA player, and genetics have been kind to GRIII. He has a solid mid-range game and his frame indicates he can develop in to a solid NBA wing eventually. However, he was far too timid for Michigan at times, and his ability to hit 3's (31% in Ann Arbor) or get to the free throw line (only 3 attempts a game) leaves a lot to be desired.

The good thing for Robinson III is, he has time to develop. Behind Lee, Dragic, Morris and company minutes will be few and far between. Whether it be in practice, garbage minutes (which MIN will almost certainly experience given the results of this mock) or in the D-League, GRIII will be able to grow in to his game and not be counted on to contribute right away. At 27 overall, that's about as good as you can ask for most of the time.
