What's going down
The Grizzlies last played a preseason game this past Thursday, having a full 3 days before tonight's contest. Memphis will have another 3 days before they play again after tonight. That is (1) single preseason game over a (7) day period.
What does that tell me? The Grizzlies might put a little extra pressure on the gas pedal tonight. They need to see where they're at chemistry-wise and conditioning-wise to be able to gauge how they approach the coming week.
The Cavs are likely to be a little shorthanded tonight, particularly at point guard. With Conley having somewhat of a "homecoming", you'd like to see him have a pretty big game and show out for his college folk.
We'll want to pay attention to some of the lineup combinations again tonight. Jeff Green will surely have plenty of eyes on him, but on a less beating-a-dead-horse note, I think it'll be fun to watch Brandan Wright continue to settle into his role. #dunkz
