GBBLive Recap: Calkins & Ford on Grit and Grind Regression, Who is to Blame?

An all-new GBBLive was recorded last night live on BlogTalkRadio, and Host Joe Mullinax and his guests had plenty to discuss! Miss it live, or just want to listen again? Find how to listen below!

A lot of news was made and basketball was played between GBBLive episodes, and the latest installment is chalk full of great information and analysis about the Memphis Grizzlies! Do you want to listen to the Podcast hosted by Joe Mullinax, or did you not catch the show live Thursday night? No worries, listen to the program in the player below or via this link.

The first segment of the program featured Joe chatting with his great Producer Matt Bishop and the Managing Editor of Grizzly Bear Blues Chris Faulkner about all the craziness in the "Grizzly Bear News" segment. Jeff Green's severe struggles were discussed and the guys touched on the trade that sent Mario Chalmers to Memphis with James Ennis in exchange for Beno Udrih and Jarnell Stokes. Chalmers and Ennis make their Memphis debuts tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers.

GBB Senior Writer Andrew Ford joined the show in the second segment to talk about getting Jeff Green right and how "Coach Ford" would right Memphis' ship and where the problems really lie on this Grizzlies' roster.

Finally, Geoff Calkins of 92.9 FM ESPN Memphis and the Memphis Commercial Appeal returned to GBBLive to offer up some great perspective on Memphis' issues. Joe asked Geoff whether or not he was too hard on Mike Conley and Marc Gasol in his feature from earlier in the week, and the guys previewed the next three games for the Bears of Beale Street to close out the show.

All this and a whole lot more on our latest episode of GBBLive! Be sure to subscribe to the podcast on ITunes and follow us on Twitter @GBBLive! Our next BlogTalkRadio live recording will be November 19th at 6:30 PM CT!

Until then, Grind Forth, Grizz Nation, this is Grizzly Bear Blues Live!
