The week started off rough for the Grizzlies, but they were still playing much better basketball compared to what we'd seen from them so far this season. If they can level out some of their shooting percentages they'll have a much easier go at it as Andrew Ford showed us just how cramped the interior of the court can become when they don't provide an outside threat.

One of the lone bright spots (before last night) in individual performances has been JaMychal Green. Grace Baker talked about the breath of fresh air he's been and details some of what he brings to the Grizzlies as a young, athletic player with a high motor.

The Grizzlies teased us and then finally unveiled their Memphis Sounds alternate uniforms for Hardwood Classic night coming up this Monday against OKC. They are FLY!

Memphis had been rumored to be interested in Mario Chalmers a couple of weeks ago, and they went ahead and pulled the trigger earlier this week. Beno Udrih and Jarnell Stokes are no longer Grizzlies, and the once-hated Mario Chalmers is now already paying off for Memphis. Matt Hrdlicka gaves his thoughts on Chalmers, and Joe Mullinax talked about how the Grizzlies could deploy him.

The other piece of the trade for Memphis is a young small forward named James Ennis. Chip Williams broke down the scouting report for Ennis, and it looks like there's some potential for him to fill a role for the Grizzlies.
