Kaboom. Meltdown. Demolition. The team is not a "team" but a collection of individuals who are paid a lot of money to do basketball things on a court. Patrick Beverley is expected to return from injury tonight, but the Rockets will still be playing Jason Terry alongside James Harden in the starting lineup. Yikes. The one concern I have about this team is that they've had 3 days off to reconfigure and rest while the Grizzlies are on a SEGABABA with no true power forward available to play unless Zach Randolph shakes off a sore knee.

Mostly good things. Marc Gasol and Mike Conley are rolling. Wing players not named Courtney Lee are hitting shots. Timing is developing, players are scoring in transition, Vince Carter is dunking. The Grizzlies have also rediscovered some of that elite defense they've been known for as they held the Mavs to 36 points in the first half last night. Look for the Grizzlies to play some weird, small-ball lineups again tonight with Z-Bo and Brandan Wright both likely out. Weird is fun in this instance.
A win tonight would make a great Thanksgiving treat before the Grizzlies come back for a home stand this weekend.
