Weekly Playoff Standings: Grizzlies hold on to 2nd seed going into All-Star break

It wasn't a pretty finish for Memphis going into the break, but they still have a firm grip on the 2nd seed in the Western Conference.

Western Conference Standings
GP W-L GB
Golden State Warriors 50 41-9 0
Memphis Grizzlies 53 39-14 4
Houston Rockets 53 36-17 7
Portland Trail Blazers 53 36-17 7
Dallas Mavericks 55 36-19 8
LA Clippers 54 35-19 8 1/2
San Antonio Spurs 53 34-19 9
Phoenix Suns 53 29-25 14
Oklahoma City Thunder 53 28-25 15
New Orleans Pelicans 53 27-26 16
Denver Nuggets 53 20-33 23
Utah Jazz 53 19-34 24
Sacramento Kings 52 18-34 24 1/2
Los Angeles Lakers 53 13-40 30
Minnesota Timberwolves 53 11-42 32

As it stands right now, the Grizzlies still comfortably hold the 2nd seed in the West, but they give up space to OKC who inches closer towards the playoff picture. It was a sloppy finish for Memphis heading into the break, but the Thunder needed the game far, far more than the Grizzlies did.
