Game Preview: Grizzlies look for a positive jolt as they head to Minnesota

Memphis needs to right the ship. Can they do it against one of the worst teams in the league? Or will they continue to struggle to find traction?

Recently for the Memphis Grizzlies:

That's kind of what it's felt like to be a fan of the Grizzlies since they played Sacramento on Wednesday. Not that I'm souring on the Bears of Beale, but compared to the heroics of their first two games out of the All-Star break (at POR, at LAC), their last two performances on the court have been...full of manure.

Recently for the Minnesota Timberwolves:

The Wolves have been given a shot in the arm with the return of Kevin Garnett to Minnesota...kinda. They have won (3) games since their last meeting with the Grizzlies on February 8th, which is a huge improvement for them, but they still struggle massively with fundamental scoring and defending. That being said, with the way the Grizzlies have played the last two games, this matchup tonight has all the makings of a triple OT.

Injury Report

Grizzlies: Vince Carter (out with foot tendon injury)

Timberwolves: Anthony Bennett (out with sprained ankle), Gary Neal (probable with sprained ankle)

Wild and crazy prediction for tonight:

Jeff Green leads the Grizzlies to victory with 20+ points...a point total he's eclipsed just once since joining the Grizzlies.
